2017 voice report released by VoiceLabs, a voice analysis startup company, predicted the performance of Microsoft, Samsung, Google (micro-blog) and Amazon in the future voice assistant war.

The report also investigates Google aides and Amazon Alexa users, so as to understand why some start-ups have made more successful use of Alexa related technologies than other companies.

The following are the 5 major concerns of the report:

1, the next 9 months are crucial to an economic ecosystem built around an intelligent assistant

Many consumers have yet to judge what kind of smart aides they like most, but they certainly don't want to buy multiple AI voice aides. VoiceLabs's survey of Amazon Echo and Google Home in December 2016 found that only 11% of people buy one of them and are willing to purchase another device.

"This means that in the next 9 months, it will become a winner take all smart home market. No matter what equipment you first buy for your family, you may be loyal to the platform, and then buy more devices on the same platform." VoiceLab co founder Adam Malkirk (Adam Marchick) said, "you may buy 4 more Echo Dot satellites to match with Echo, so it will be very important for your equipment to stand out in the next 9 months."

"It also rounded the alarm for apple, Microsoft, and Samsung. They must quickly join the war. " He said.

VoiceLabs estimates that 2015 and 2016 sales of smart voice devices were 6 million 500 thousand, and about 24 million 500 thousand in 2017. So the total volume of sales has reached 33 million since 2014. VoiceLabs obtained this number by summarizing the calculated data of the CIRP and the invoices traced by InfoScout and KPCB.

"We got the growth curve in 2016, and use this growth curve to predict the situation in 2017, and we get 24 million 500 thousand data in this report. Mar Kieker said.

In the case of Amazon, at least, much of the sales were achieved at the end of the year. The company announced on Thursday that Alexa sales have set the highest record in the shopping season, becoming the hottest year of sales throughout the year.
